$Intel(INTC.US) There are hardly any retail investors left, just a handful. It's a blatant slaughter of every short position against the closing price. No matter what price you short at, the main quantitative forces instantly start wash trading, pulling and dragging the price, killing it by several points every day. This is because few retail investors dare to chase highs now; it's all large institutional funds engaging in matched orders. For every short position entered, one is liquidated, blowing up most of the shorts. If all retail investors only short now, the main forces could continue rising at a 45-degree vertical angle. Forget about a dozen bullish candles; as long as the majority of you are short, they could even have 100 consecutive bullish candles.
