China auto export data shows 2 very interesting data points:
1) >50% of all auto export value is new energy vehicles (EV, PHEV & Hybrid), US is barely over 20%2) You can see the retraction from pure EV's to PHEV/Hybrid's starting from Q4 2023 (the trend that killed silicon carbide)(Dataset updated thru Feb 2025)Source: Chips & Wafers
