The combination of overbought conditions and sideways movement typically suggests that bulls have finished entering positions before the earnings release, leaving only waiting for the results. On the $Shopify (SHOP.US) side, earnings have already been released, and the upward momentum continues.
Between pre-earnings overbought conditions and post-earnings continuation, which one is more worth holding? I would personally choose the latter—the side where uncertainty has been eliminated offers clearer odds.
