The Shanghai Composite Index showed volatile strength, with the Huaxia SSE 50 ETF (510050) aiming for a three-day winning streak.

On July 22, the Shanghai Composite Index opened lower but strengthened with volatility in the morning session. As of 11:00, the Huaxia SSE 50 ETF (510050) rose by 0.94%, aiming for a third consecutive daily gain, with a latest quote of 3.108 RMB. The intraday trading volume reached 1.066 billion RMB. Performance among holdings was mixed: Zijin Mining led gains with a 6.82% rise, Montage Technology increased by 6.24%, and CMOC Group rose by 6.00%. Longi Green Energy and Sugon also showed strong performance. Conversely, China Telecom led declines with a 2.62% drop, Kingsoft Office fell by 2.60%, while AMEC, Shengyi Technology, and SMIC were among the biggest losers.

In terms of scale, the Huaxia SSE 50 ETF (510050) saw its assets under management grow by 2.109 billion RMB over the past week, ranking first among similar products. Over the last 10 trading days, it experienced net capital inflows on 7 days, totaling 2.799 billion RMB "absorbed." As of July 21, the latest AUM for the Huaxia SSE 50 ETF stood at 23.03 billion RMB, ranking first among funds tracking the same index.

The SSE 50 ETF Huaxia (510050) tracks the SSE 50 Index, which carefully selects the top 50 largest-cap leading stocks in the Shanghai market. After several years of index rebalancing, the weightings of traditional sectors such as finance and consumer goods have been significantly reduced. Currently, the index is positioned in both high-elasticity information technology sectors and defensive finance and consumer sectors. As of June 30, 2026, the top ten weighted stocks in the index were Kweichow Moutai, GigaDevice, Ping An Insurance, Cambricon, China Merchants Bank, Zijin Mining, Montage Technology, AMEC, Hygon Information, and Yangtze Power, accounting for a combined weight of 46.83%.
