$CrowdStrike(CRWD.US) fell another two-plus percent; this pullback from the highs shows no signs of stopping yet. $Unity Software(U.US), on the other hand, rose nearly three percent, as someone is quietly bottom-fishing on the game engine's ad monetization story.

Cybersecurity has gone from "justifiably expensive" to "expensive but shaky," while $Unity Software(U.US) has shifted from "nobody wants it" to "actually not bad." The expectation gap between the two is moving in completely opposite directions.

Between the valuation-crushed market leader and the turnaround play in the second tier, which side feels more comfortable to buy right now? Emotionally, I want to catch the falling knife on the leader, but rationally, the turnaround side looks better—stocks with expectations hit rock bottom get a catalyst if their earnings aren't terrible, whereas valuation compression never needs a reason.
