
$Invesco Nasdaq 100 ETF(QQQM.US), $iShares Nasdaq 100 ETF(IQQ.US), and $NEOS Nasdaq-100(R) High Income ETF(QQQI.US) all saw slight declines, while $Magnificent Seven ETF - Roundhill(MAGS.US) fell slightly less.
Products with different packaging but the same basket of assets retreated together; the difference in magnitude mainly comes from portfolio concentration: the Magnificent Seven basket lacks mid- and small-cap semiconductors, so it avoided a hit from the storage chain.
The high-yield version relies on call option premiums as a buffer; it has smaller drawdowns when falling unilaterally but underperforms during rebounds. Choosing it is equivalent to choosing cash flow and giving up elasticity.
