After a year of investing, having experienced both peaks and troughs, I'm grateful to the Longbridge experts for helping me break even.

In March 2025, I went to Hong Kong to open an account, planning to buy Xiaomi stock. After experiencing the big drop in April, it kept rising all the way. Watching the profit numbers keep increasing, I started to get overconfident and kept buying as it went up.

The peak period should have been July to September. With the release of YU7, the stock and the comment section were both in high spirits, all talking about year-end targets of 80, 100, 120, Xiaomi going global.... Good news was everywhere, completely ignoring the impact of some negative news.

From then on, the hellish decline began. When it reached 50, the comment section was still positive, all hoping for a rebound. The colder it got, the more it fell. I cut my losses at 36, losing 80% of my principal. I don't know how to describe my mood at the time. I reflected a lot. The stock market requires independent thinking. Following the crowd will only make you a naive investor. It's not that Xiaomi can't make money, but it's too hard for beginners to get the timing right. I'll write some thoughts on this later when I have time. This post is mainly to thank the big shots at Longbridge.

The most, most, most, most thanks go to "Mr. Z from Beijing". If you ever start a paid knowledge course, I'll definitely sign up. I started following you at the beginning of the year, reading your weekly reports and articles, and noticed the storage sector and the later light. At that time, I only had 20% of my capital left, so I started very cautiously. I bought several companies that all had gains: BE, SanDisk, Micron. Later, I slowly became convinced. After experiencing several pullbacks, I believed AI was the main track. I finally broke even in the last few days. I don't know what to say. I'm really grateful to Mr. Z. Also, the "lie flat portfolio" I recommended to my friends is also making money. Meeting you is my luck. A god-like man.

After getting back to the starting point, I'll be steady and solid, not touching Chinese concept stocks, buying good companies, holding on tight, sleeping well, and buying good tickets.
