After Tencent's earnings report was released, its major shareholder $Naspers(NPSNY.US) first fell sharply, then gradually recovered, and is currently down 0.3%. This seems to indicate huge market divergence over the released earnings report, making it really hard to predict.
However, judging by the nasty character of Hong Kong stocks, having been bearish for so long and suppressed too badly by short sellers, the probability of Tencent ADR tonight and Tencent's Hong Kong shares tomorrow falling seems higher.
But we still need to wait for the subsequent conference call.
