
Hong Kong Stock Market Close Review: Hang Seng Index Rebounds from Lows, CATL Surges 4.77%
April 21 - The main stock indices of the Hong Kong market opened slightly higher today, then generally showed a trend of probing the bottom before rebounding. As of the close, the Hang Seng Index rose 0.48%, while the Hang Seng Tech Index fell slightly by 0.08%. The total turnover of the Hang Seng Index reached HKD 205.177 billion. In terms of sectors and individual stocks, CATL (03750.HK) rose strongly today, closing up 4.77% for the day, leading gains in the energy equipment concept stocks. Coal concept stocks generally rose, with Huili Resources (01303.HK) closing up over 11%. Auntea Jenny Shanghai (02589.HK) fluctuated but strengthened throughout the day, closing up 14.87%.
