1) In terms of text models alone, Gemini 2.5 is already the top model of the year in the arena. But the gap between leading models is very small.
2) During the post-earnings communication session for Gemini 3, it was disclosed that it will be released later this year, most likely around Christmas. The CEO also slightly tempered expectations: significant progress is becoming increasingly difficult.
