$AMD(AMD.US)Didn't expect this comment to be posted just four days ago, and I'm already back. It really proves my point that reversals often happen in an instant.

AMD rose nearly 6 points during the session and after-hours, and it's no problem to return to 160+ at night. I wonder how those who were scared and sold at 150 feel..

$AMD(AMD.US) Woke up to find my limit order at 150 triggered. Since establishing the position at 175, today marks the largest addition, with the current cost at 162.35, accounting for 30% of the total position.

I don't know how others feel, but seeing the price at 150 didn't scare me; instead, I was excited, thrilled to finally encounter a golden opportunity. AMD has already corrected over 18% from its peak, a unique case among popular tech stocks.

September is a volatile month for U.S. stocks, with rate cut expectations adding to the uncertainty. While the final market direction is unclear, the worst-case scenario is likely a 10% correction. Hoping for another April-like crash is pure fantasy. In the century-long history of U.S. stocks, the index has corrected over 20% only 18 times, averaging once every 5.8 years.

To prepare for the worst (a 10% market correction), I'll adjust my position-adding strategy, strictly adhering to my trading plan and avoiding frequent trades or additions.

For AMD, I'll add 10% of my position for every 10% drop, increasing the addition size as the price falls. For example, add 10% at 135, 15% at 120, 15% at 105, and 20% at 90, and so on until fully invested. Then, I'll just wait it out.

U.S. stocks have short bears and long bulls. After sharp declines, they often rebound quickly and hit new highs. Since I'm confident in holding quality stocks, there's nothing to worry about.

Also, until AMD rebounds, I won't be visiting the comments section. While negative comments won't affect my strategy, they do dampen my mood.

In just a few weeks, public sentiment shifted from "Dr. Lisa Su is a goddess" to "AMD is trash." But has AMD's fundamentals changed during this period? Has its business deteriorated? Has there been any major negative news?

No. The only thing that changed is sentiment.
