In August 2025, the Spanish auto market continued its upward trend, with total sales showing significant growth, marking the fourth consecutive month of double-digit increases. New energy vehicle sales surged, and market penetration improved substantially. In terms of brands, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Renault ranked in the top three, while Chinese brands MG and BYD performed exceptionally well, with BYD showing rapid year-on-year growth. Among models, the Dacia Sandero took the top spot, while the Toyota Corolla and Tesla Model 3 saw significant rises in rankings.
