Yesterday, I predicted that the impressive earnings reports from META and MSFT might lead to a rise in TSM, which was the case at the opening. However, upon waking up, I found that both my holdings and the broader market had fallen, and the lingering effect of my gold counter-indicator was evident. This also shows that participating in earnings-driven market movements is mostly gambling (except for experts) and it's easy to get the timing wrong with day trading.
RTX, neither buying nor selling unless there's a single-day drop of -6%.
TSLA has fallen below my cost basis of 312. I plan to add 1-2 positions between 300-280 to lower the average cost to below 300. At the same time, I'll wait for an opportunity to sell the added positions.
TSM and VOO will be added according to the predetermined plan, with 8/1 being the fixed investment day (1/3 of the monthly funds).
After-hours, AMSN fell sharply, and I blindly guess that the closing decline will narrow.
