
$Microsoft(MSFT.US) Major shareholders of Microsoft opposed the company's Bitcoin investment proposal on Tuesday, arguing that it does not align with the long-term interests of shareholders. The Microsoft board had earlier urged shareholders to reject a proposal from the National Center for Public Policy Research, which suggested that the company invest 1% of its total assets in Bitcoin to hedge against inflation.
Additionally, it was reported that Microsoft's Cloud services division introduced its next-generation "zero water evaporation data center design" in a press release issued on Monday local time. Each data center adopting this design can save 125 million liters of water annually.
