Nvidia Vera Rubin-based servers will enter mass production this quarter at Quanta, and are expected to lift the Taiwan giant’s full-year revenue to triple-digit-growth (100%+) year-on-year, media report, adding Quanta said visibility from top Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) already stretches into 2028.

Quanta also raised its full-year outlook for general purpose servers to double-digit growth from flat due to higher component costs and product upgrades.

Its June revenue leaped 102.9% year-on-year to NT$385.19 billion, also up 23.7% over May, an all-time-high.

2nd quarter revenue hit a record NT$1.04 trillion (US$32.36 billion), up 105.6% from NT$504.12 in Q2 last year.

Quanta plans to open 3 more factories in the US for AI server assembly, part of its effort to double capacity compared to last year.

Quanta’s 2nd biggest product segment, laptop computers, is a different story. Laptop shipments in Q2 hit 11.5 million units, but Quanta fears the 2nd half may be muted due to rising component costs, which are hurting consumers.
