TSMC Challenger? Samsung Foundry’s order backlog has reportedly risen to ₩50 trillion won (US$32.7B) after securing chip orders from Tesla last year and more recently, interest from Meta and Anthropic, media report. Meta is said to seek Samsung’s 2nm process for Meta MTIA AI chips, which up to now have been made by TSMC. Meta has become far more aggressive with its AI chip program.
