Seaway maritime news learned that on June 23, 2026, Jinjiang Shipping and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding officially signed a construction contract for 4x 1900TEU container ships in Shanghai. This is a deep collaboration following the signing of the first batch of 4 new shipbuilding projects by both parties in March this year, marking another joint effort. The Shanghai Branch of China Classification Society, Shanghai Merchant Ship Design and Research Institute, Bureau Veritas (BV), Hong Kong Shipping Registry, and other units jointly attended and witnessed the event.
