
Taiwan’s top chip fab builder, United Integrated Services (UIS), holds orders on hand worth NT$193.9 billion (US$6.1 billion) as of end-May, a new high amid a TSMC, Micron-led fab building spree in Taiwan, media report, citing UIS President C.M. Lai. He also said UIS’s visibility extends through 2030. Around 2/3s of the orders are from Taiwan, the remainder from overseas.
