Apple has placed rush orders for more MacBook Neo laptops (laptot @evadou) as the initial run of entry-level laptops, which start at US$599 is completely sold out, media report, with estimated sales volume raised to 10 million from 7 million and supply chain partners Foxconn and Quanta ramping up production now. Current delivery times for the MacBook Neo, which debuted March 11, stretch to April 24-May 1. Tim Culpan reported Apple is planning a 2nd MacBook Neo model next year on his substack, Culpium.
