
Chip foundries that make mature node chips will raise prices 10% or more amid rising costs, tighter supply, media report, adding China’s Nexchip and Taiwan’s Vanguard (VIS), have already notified clients they will hike prices across all processes in the 2nd quarter (Nexchip 6/1, VIS 4/1). Taiwan’s Powerchip said it has already raised prices in Q1, while UMC declined comment.
