Delta Electronics will raise capex to a fresh record high in 2026 after last year’s NT$46.1 billion (US$1.5B) to build more power supplies for AI servers, but despite big spending, “capacity will remain tight for the next year or two,” said Chairman Ping Cheng, media report. Products for the Nvidia-led voltage shift to 800VDC (Direct Current) systems will begin contributing to revenue this year. Big capex spending now is “for demand for 2029” the chairman said.
