NEARLY A QUARTER OF AMERICAN WORKERS DIDN’T TAKE ANY OF THEIR VACATION DAYS THIS YEAR, SAYS NEW SURVEY

Reasons include:

❖ Workload: 43% felt too busy; 30% feared falling behind

❖ Team culture: 29% felt pressured to appear committed; 25% worried managers would discourage time off

❖ PTO limits or confusion: Over a third said they didn’t have enough days, while even unlimited PTO can go unused due to unclear expectations
