TSMC’s first wafer from a successful 2nm trial was put on display in Kaohsiung's City Hall on Monday, designated wafer 001, media report. Etched on the wafer is an acrostic poem, in which the first character of each line reads out the phrase “Great Southern Silicon Valley” (大南方新矽谷), in line with the city’s goal to become a major semiconductor hub.
