BITCOIN POISED FOR NEW HIGH, SAYS STANDARD CHARTERED

Standard Chartered’s Geoff Kendrick says Bitcoin could hit a new record if the U.S. government shutdown drags on, noting its positive correlation with Treasury term premiums.

StanChart forecasts Bitcoin at $135,000 soon and $200,000 by year-end. The token now trades at $120,456, just below its August peak of $124,480.
