Re: Tylenol taken by pregnant women can lead to higher incidence of autism: Correlation is not causation. A pregnant woman may take Tylenol or some other pain reliever if she has headaches due to stress, family issues, money worries, etc. The stress may be the underlying cause of autism and not the Tylenol. Perhaps pregnant women who get frequent headaches also drink more coffee or wine while pregnant. Many women who have autistic kids say they have never taken Tylenol. $Kenvue(KVUE.US)
