TSMC will soon begin CoWoS pilot production at the 2nd phase of its Chiayi advanced semiconductor packaging plant (south Taiwan), media report. Science park officials are readying the phase-II park expansion plan, an additional 89.58-hectares earmarked for more TSMC advanced packaging plants in Chiayi.
