The US has been putting location tracking devices in AI chip shipments to catch diversions to China in violation of US export controls, Reuters reports, adding tracking devices have been found in Dell and Super Micro shipments containing Nvidia and AMD AI chips, hidden inside shipping boxes, packaging, and even AI servers.
