Not sure why @elonmusk didn’t see this coming as a result of him speaking out against passage of President Trump’s big beautiful bill. In Trump’s defense, Elon seemingly endorsed the elimination of EV credits when Trump was elected, a position we strongly opposed last Fall as being bad for $Tesla(TSLA.US).
