
TSMC has won orders to manufacture Fujitsu’s 2nm Arm-based CPU for AI and data centers, named Monaka, media report, noting the Japanese giant plans to also invest in Rapidus, Japan’s state-backed chip foundry. Fujitsu sees the potential for Rapidus to become a key part of its secure supply chain.
