
The US Senate is discussing a tax bill that would boost the semiconductor manufacturing tax credit to 30% from 25%, giving chip makers further incentive to build in the USA, Bloomberg reports, noting President Trump has voiced disapproval over the 2022 Chips Act and it could be changed during the lawmaking process.
