Taiwan has proposed NT$190 billion (US$6.4 billion) for ten AI projects over the next 4-years (2025-2028), including, CPO (co-packaged optics), quantum computing, humanoid robots and more, media report, noting it is an NT$90 billion increase in funding. One specific project is a Smart City software platform, another is a program to promote the use of AI in manufacturing in Taiwan, and more.
