<p>GLOBAL ECONOMIC GROWTH COULD SLOW TO 2.3% IN 2025, SAYS CITI <p></p>Global economic growth is projected to slow to 2.3% in 2025, from 2.8% in 2024, due to the effects of tariffs, Citi economists say in a note. &#34;Part of the global economy's resilience reflects that the U.S. tariffs are phasing in only gradually, so the full thrust of their restraining effects has not yet been felt.&#34; The full effects are likely to surface in the second half of this year, the economists say.</p>
