Oracle will spend about US$40 billion for 400,000 of Nvidia’s GB200 chips for a new data center in Abilene, Texas, part of OpenAI/Softbank’s Stargate project, The FT reports, citing unnamed sources, and noting the site will boast 1.2GW of power when it opens next year.
