Nvidia plans to launch a new Blackwell AI chip for China that matches revised US export curbs, Reuters reports, noting the new chips will cost US$6,500 to $8,000 each, versus the previous China-focused chip (H20)'s $10,000 - $12,000. The new Nvidia chip will not require TSMC’s CoWoS advanced packaging, nor use AI memory chips (HBM), instead using GDDR7. $NVIDIA(NVDA.US) $Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM.US) #Blackwell #semiconductors #semiconductor
