This is not all that surprising, as a succession plan was announced 6 months ago. But there is an interesting nugget in here: "Navid Shahriari — who was meant to succeed Kelleher at Process Development (PD) — was named executive vice president and will lead a newly created organization focused on back-end chip production"The implication is that Intel is interested in focusing on Advanced Packaging as a strategic differentiator.
