Apple collaborates with AAC TECH to showcase a 15-micron precision AI fully closed-loop production line at the Chain Expo. The two parties have worked together for 18 years, overcoming key technologies such as the injection of uniform heating plates. The exhibits include a magnetic levitation assembly line with an error of only a quarter of a hair's thickness and a self-developed AI anodizing dyeing large model, achieving active control and green manufacturing, significantly reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions

According to Zhitong Finance APP, on June 22, the 4th China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo officially opened in Beijing, with 676 domestic and foreign chain-leading enterprises, specialized and innovative enterprises, and industry institutions participating, covering 85 countries and regions. Over 65% of the exhibitors are from the Fortune Global 500, and an artificial intelligence section has been added for the first time, focusing on "AI + manufacturing" to drive industrial upgrades.

Notably, Apple, which holds an important ecological position in China's manufacturing industry, has participated for four consecutive years. This year, it joined hands with AAC TECH (02018) and other representative enterprises from the supply chain to showcase in the digital technology chain exhibition area, focusing on precision manufacturing, AI implementation, and green manufacturing achievements. Apple's Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sabih Khan stated in an interview that supply chain partners like AAC TECH have demonstrated remarkable strength in intelligent manufacturing, green manufacturing, environmental protection, and employee development.

According to Global Times, AAC TECH has been cooperating with Apple for 18 years, supplying a full range of products including mobile phones, computers, watches, and wireless earphones, with a cumulative supply exceeding 8.6 billion pieces. The core exhibit this time is the haptic engine magnetic levitation intelligent assembly closed-loop line, with assembly errors precisely controlled within 15 microns, only a quarter of the thickness of a hair. Coupled with an AI full-process detection system, it captures product sensitivity deviations in real-time, automatically tracing upstream processes and issuing process adjustment instructions, forming a complete closed loop of assembly-detection-optimization. At the same time, the company has developed its own AI anodizing large model, relying on massive production data for autonomous learning, intelligently controlling dye concentration, temperature, and pH value, completely breaking away from the inefficient traditional manual color adjustment mode; the supporting intelligent factory control system achieves dynamic optimization of micrometer-level dispensing, predicting production line anomalies in advance, shifting from passive maintenance to proactive control. In terms of green manufacturing, AAC TECH has built an intelligent energy management system for the entire factory, visualizing and monitoring energy consumption in real-time, with pilot factories achieving carbon reduction of 15%-30%; the water recycling system in the factory has a maximum recovery rate of 85%, saving 80,000 tons of water annually per factory.

AAC TECH's founder, executive director, and CEO Pan Zhengmin stated in an interview that Apple's strict product standards continue to inspire the team's innovative drive, and both parties have jointly tackled epoch-making technologies such as high-precision water injection for heat spreaders and miniature speaker modules, setting industry benchmarks for craftsmanship together.

As a key person responsible for Apple's global supply chain management, this year marks Sabih Khan's first visit to the chain expo venue. "Our relationship with Chinese supply chain partners is mutually beneficial; our cooperation has exceeded 1+1>2, becoming 1+1>3, 4, 5..." he said in a media interview. "I am very grateful to our suppliers in China; it is their hard work that allows us to deliver excellent products to our users."
