According to the Zhitong Finance APP, the EFUND A SEMICON ETF (03486) rose over 4% in the afternoon, and as of the time of publication, it was up 3.69%, priced at HKD 24.74, with a trading volume of HKD 16.9516 million.
In terms of news, on June 24, Hong Kong stock chip stocks surged, with Hua Hong Semiconductor rising over 16%, SMIC up over 8%, and Zhaoyi Innovation increasing over 7%. According to the Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily, technology analyst Tim Culpan pointed out that Taiwan Semiconductor has gradually notified customers of price increases for wafer foundry services, with the price hike covering not only the rumored 3nm process but also all advanced processes of 7nm and below, with an overall increase of about 5% to 10%, affecting approximately 75% of wafer revenue sources.
Additionally, it was reported that SK Hynix may submit a securities registration statement to the Financial Supervisory Service of Korea regarding its planned American Depositary Receipt (ADR) listing on Wednesday. SK Hynix expects the Financial Supervisory Service to complete document review as early as July 3; its ADR is expected to be listed in July.
