
Wang Yibo's Traffic Injection Boosts Trendy IP 'Xiao Ao Aoo': Can YH ENT and Dream Island Create a Hit?
Can the trendy toy business lead the way?
On April 17, YHTOYS, the trendy toy brand under YH ENT, officially announced that top-tier artist Wang Yibo has become the global ambassador for its original IP "Xiao Ao Aoo".
This marks that after stabilizing its core artist base, YH ENT has accelerated its efforts in "artist derivative value development" and the trendy toy sector.
According to the plan, new products from the "Xiao Ao Aoo" series will be launched simultaneously at YHTOYS robot stores under YH ENT, partner Dream Island stores, and through the retail networks of MINISO LAND and MINISO SPACE under Miniso.
YH ENT's strategic tilt towards trendy toys stems from the business's strong growth curve and the visible ceiling of its core artist management business.
In 2025, YH ENT disclosed the trendy toy segment as an independent business unit for the first time. Annual report data shows that the segment generated revenue of 37.134 million yuan with a gross profit margin as high as 45%.
In comparison, the company's traditional artist management business had a gross profit margin of only 22.8%. Trendy toys have become the most profitable segment among YH ENT's four business divisions.
In this strategy, Dream Island (formerly Quantum Singularity), a US-listed company, is YH ENT's earliest key industry ally.
The two parties are deeply incubating and operating the IP through a joint venture named "Yu Hua Tong Xing". Dream Island provides product design and supply chain management capabilities, while YH ENT injects scarce star traffic and marketing resources.
Previously, the VIVISTAR IP developed by both parties was validated under this model.
Sources close to Dream Island told All-Day Technology that "Xiao Ao Aoo" will continue the co-development and operation model similar to VIVISTAR, with Dream Island providing sales channel support.
YH ENT founder Du Hua previously publicly stated that 2026 is the year of transformation for the company, hoping that the public's impression of YH ENT would be "besides being capable of creating stars, also a comprehensive company integrating 'robots + AI + trendy toys'".
Regarding channels, the first batch of YHTOYS ROBOSHOP stores, jointly built by YH ENT and Jinma Amusement, landed in core commercial districts such as Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, and Hangzhou earlier this year.
The company plans to expand overseas with South Korea or Southeast Asia as pilot regions, aiming to open more retail points within the year.
With the endorsement of the super symbol "Wang Yibo", YH ENT's dream of trendy toys is further unfolding.
The traffic and topics of top-tier artists can complete IP exposure and break into new circles in a short period, providing momentum for new products; however, in the long run, whether the IP can settle into stable assets still depends on the continuous validation of product strength and channel capabilities.
Whether this path can create a stable hit remains to be seen.
