NVIDIA is reported to internalize DGX Cloud, no longer focusing on external sales

According to reports, NVIDIA has adjusted its customer expansion strategy for its cloud computing business, DGX Cloud, downplaying the focus on external customer acquisition. Insiders revealed that NVIDIA plans to shift this cloud business more towards internal research purposes, such as designing new processors or developing artificial intelligence models. However, Alex Black Bjorlin, an executive responsible for the DGX Cloud business at NVIDIA, responded by stating, "Our external strategy has not changed." He mentioned, "Our internal research teams require a lot of computing power, and all customers do as well, so our strategy remains consistent." DGX Cloud was officially launched in March 2023, aiming to provide users with access to NVIDIA's high-performance GPU clusters. The service was initially deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. According to NVIDIA's official website, DGX Cloud is a unified AI platform based on leading cloud platforms, capable of connecting all AI workloads to optimized high-performance NVIDIA AI infrastructure, supporting the most demanding AI tasks from training large language models to large-scale serverless inference, accelerating AI application development through integrated software, managed services, and expert guidance
