Lynk & Co launches a new brand in the plug-in hybrid market

In recent years, Lynk & Co has achieved sales leaps through plug-in hybrid models, establishing itself as a strong player in this field. Now, in this area, Lynk & Co is launching more new products.

On the evening of September 8, Lynk & Co's first mid-to-large-sized plug-in hybrid sedan, the 10 EM-P, was officially launched. The new car offers four configuration models, with an official guidance price ranging from 173,800 to 211,800 yuan, and a limited-time promotional price of 163,800 to 201,800 yuan.

Soon, tangible orders reflected the market's recognition of this vehicle. Just 56 minutes after its official launch, the number of pre-orders exceeded 10,000, setting a record for the fastest sales of Lynk & Co sedan products.

In recent years, Lynk & Co has continuously promoted its electrification transformation, with plug-in hybrid models becoming the mainstay of its sales. From January to July 2025, the sales proportion of Lynk & Co's plug-in hybrid models reached 68% of the brand's total sales, an increase of 23 percentage points compared to the same period last year.

The Lynk & Co 10 EM-P released this time is Lynk & Co's answer to the mid-to-high-end sedan market.

In line with the overall industry trend, the most notable feature of the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P is its all-series standard configuration strategy.

First, in terms of drive form, Lin Jie, General Manager of Lynk & Co Automobile Sales Company, introduced to Wall Street Insights, "In response to the high demands of C-class hybrid users, we have achieved multiple breakthroughs, upgrading the four-wheel drive system, which was previously only equipped in high-end versions of luxury cars, to standard across the entire series, making it the only one in its class."

The four versions launched that evening are the 120 Four-Wheel Drive Halo, 120 Four-Wheel Drive Ultra, 240 Four-Wheel Drive Ultra, and 240 Four-Wheel Drive Ultra Sport Edition, all of which are four-wheel drive models.

In terms of range, the CLTC comprehensive range reaches up to 1400 km, featuring the first-ever 38.2 kWh Shield Gold Brick super hybrid battery, with a CLTC range of up to 240 km. The charging time from SOC 10% to 60% is less than 13 minutes at the fastest, meeting the daily commuting needs of urban areas without refueling.

It is worth mentioning that this battery has also received numerous safety certifications. In August of this year, the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P passed the industry's first six extreme scenario tests with power at the China Automotive Technology & Research Center's new energy inspection center, and passed the industry's first battery pack multi-point trigger thermal runaway safety test in a live state at the China Merchants Heavy Industry Vehicle Technology Research Institute's fire laboratory.

In terms of intelligence, the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P also embodies the concept of standard configuration. Lin Jie admitted, "In the past, consumers may have thought that Lynk & Co excelled in many areas, but intelligence was not its strong suit. This time, we hope to change that impression with the new product."

Therefore, Lynk & Co has equipped this new car with an intelligent electric four-wheel drive system, laser radar, and the latest H7 solution from the NVIDIA DRIVE Thor chip as standard across the entire series.

Kang Guowang, Vice President of ZEEKR Technology and Dean of Lynk & Co Research Institute, introduced, "The total installation of the H7 solution on ZEEKR and Lynk & Co brands has exceeded 250,000 units, with a cumulative assisted driving mileage of over 430 million kilometers. Relying on safety features such as AEB emergency braking assistance, it has effectively avoided millions of potential risks." With hardware support, the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P has also iterated its capabilities in intelligent assisted driving. Kang Guowang introduced, "The Lynk & Co 10 EM-P will be delivered with no-map NOA and highway NOA navigation assistance features, allowing it to be driven anywhere in the country with ease."

The intelligent capabilities also provide additional assurance for active safety. The AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking) system equipped in the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P can intelligently detect collision risks and stop from speeds of up to 130 km/h. Additionally, the G-AES (General Obstacle Emergency Avoidance Assistance) can accurately identify obstacles as small as 40cm x 60cm while driving at high speeds of 130 km/h.

In terms of the cabin, the new car is equipped with the Flyme AI large model for voice interaction, and its AI emotional interaction system can understand vague needs and respond to complex scenarios, allowing the AI butler to read the room like a real person.

In addition to the above hard strengths, this car also pays attention to user needs in multiple aspects.

For example, in terms of audio, this car is equipped with a luxurious Harman Kardon 23-speaker sound system with a total power of up to 1600W, supporting 7.1.4 multi-channel audio, professionally customized and tuned. To showcase the audio effects in the cabin, Lynk & Co invited renowned singer Gigi Leung as an experience officer to provide feedback, and she stated, "It feels like being in a studio."
