Short-term U.S. Treasury yields widen their decline, Daly discusses the prospects of a Fed rate cut in September

The yield on the U.S. two-year Treasury fell more than 2.2 basis points, hitting a daily low of nearly 3.6050% after Federal Reserve's Daly discussed the prospect of a rate cut in September.

The decline in the three-year Treasury yield expanded to nearly 2.0 basis points, the five-year Treasury yield fell more than 1 basis point, and the increase in the seven-year Treasury yield narrowed to 0.5 basis points.

The benchmark yield on the 10-year Treasury narrowed its increase to less than 1.0 basis point, the 20-year Treasury yield narrowed its increase to less than 2.6 basis points, and the 30-year Treasury yield narrowed its increase to nearly 3.1 basis points
