Strong rebound! XTALPI surged by 5% at one point during the midday session

On Friday, August 29th, XTALPI surged strongly in the afternoon session, rising over 5% at one point; earlier in the morning, the stock opened lower and had once dropped over 5%.

In terms of news, the company announced before the market opened this morning that it plans to place up to 286 million new shares, accounting for approximately 6.64% of the expanded issued share capital, with a placement price of HKD 9.28 per share, representing a discount of about 7.75% compared to yesterday's (28th) closing price of HKD 10.06 per share.

The company recently announced its interim results, achieving operating revenue of RMB 517 million in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 403.8%. It turned a profit from a loss compared to the same period last fiscal year, recording a net profit of HKD 82.795 million, compared to a loss of HKD 1.237 billion in the same period last year; earnings per share were 1.51 cents. No dividend was declared
