NVIDIA launches Spectrum-XGS Ethernet to help distributed data centers enter the billion-watt AI super factory

NVIDIA launches NVIDIA® Spectrum-XGS Ethernet, utilizing cross-region expansion technology to integrate multiple distributed data centers into a billion-watt AI super factory. This groundbreaking product is an addition to the Spectrum-X™ Ethernet platform, marking the third major pillar of AI computing, enhancing performance and scale
NVIDIA announced the launch of NVIDIA® Spectrum-XGS Ethernet. This scale-across technology can combine multiple distributed data centers into a billion-watt AI super factory. Spectrum-XGS Ethernet is a groundbreaking product added to the NVIDIA Spectrum-X™ Ethernet platform, breaking the aforementioned limitations by introducing scale-across infrastructure. Scale-across has become the "third pillar" of AI computing, following scale-up and scale-out, enabling the extreme performance and scalability of Spectrum-X Ethernet to extend to multiple distributed data centers, forming a billion-watt intelligent mega AI super factory. Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, stated: "The AI industrial revolution has arrived, and mega AI factories are the core infrastructure of this transformation. Following scale-up and scale-out technologies, we are now providing scale-across technology with the launch of NVIDIA Spectrum-XGS Ethernet, combining data centers from different cities, countries, and even continents into a massive billion-watt AI super factory."
