On Tuesday (August 12), in the European market's late trading, the yield on the UK 10-year government bonds rose by 6.1 basis points to 4.626%. After a "gap up" opening, it continued to fluctuate upward throughout the day, briefly falling to around 4.59% when the US CPI inflation data was released at 20:30 Beijing time, before resuming its upward trend, reaching 4.640% at 22:27. The yield on the 2-year UK bonds increased by 2.2 basis points to 3.885%, with an intraday trading range of 3.872%-3.907%. The yield on the 30-year UK bonds rose by 7.6 basis points to 5.467%, reaching 5.483% at 22:27; the yield on the 50-year UK bonds increased by 6.5 basis points to 4.886%, having previously reached 4.908% at 21:54, setting a new intraday historical high.
