U.S. President Trump stated that he will impose high tariffs on chips.
A tariff of approximately 100% will be levied on all imported semiconductors.
Tariffs will be exempted for those built in the U.S.
TSMC ADR fell 1.47% in after-hours trading, STMicroelectronics fell 1.295%, ASML ADR fell over 0.8%, NVIDIA fell 0.7%, Qualcomm fell 0.5%, and GlobalFoundries rose 1.6%
