But perhaps more importantly, superintelligence has the potential to usher in a new era of personal empowerment—people will have greater autonomy and agency to improve the world in the direction they choose.

Although the material wealth that AI may bring in the future could be profound, the more meaningful impact on our lives is likely to come from everyone having a "personal superintelligence": it can help you achieve your goals, create what you want to see in the world, experience any adventure, become a better friend in the eyes of those you care about, and grow into the person you aspire to be.
