Tesla enters the eVTOL/drone market?

Tesla may enter the electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL) and drone sectors. Morgan Stanley pointed out in its latest report that Musk has previously had a negative attitude towards this field, mainly due to issues such as noise, privacy, and battery energy density. However, Musk's responses during a recent employee meeting indicated a different attitude, suggesting that Tesla may transform into an aerospace/defense technology company in the future
The subtle change in Musk's statements has attracted attention.
Morgan Stanley stated in its latest research report:
For many years, when Elon Musk was asked about Tesla's potential to develop electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOLs) or drones, he would typically refuse, citing factors such as noise, disturbance, privacy invasion, and insufficient battery energy density.
However, at a recent all-hands meeting, when asked about the issue of manufacturing aircraft, Musk paused before responding that the company is currently "very distracted."
The report believes this is a markedly different way of answering and speculates whether Tesla might be an aerospace/defense technology company disguised as an automotive/consumer goods company.
