It is reported that Taiwan Semiconductor's advanced processes will increase prices, with a 10% price increase for 2nm process wafers

According to informed sources, Taiwan Semiconductor plans to soon increase the prices of one of its advanced manufacturing nodes. The sources stated that wafer prices will further soar in the coming weeks, primarily due to rising costs associated with building fabs in overseas regions such as the United States, as well as the need to recover its capital expenditure plan of USD 38 billion to USD 42 billion this year. The price of 2nm process wafers will rise by 10% compared to previous levels, with last year's estimated price for 300mm wafers being USD 30,000, while the new pricing will reach around USD 33,000. In addition, this global wafer foundry will increase the price of its 4nm manufacturing node by 10%, potentially raising it by as much as 30%
