American tech giants NVIDIA, Cisco, Oracle, and OpenAI will support the UAE's "Stargate" artificial intelligence data center. The project is being built by the UAE company G42 in Abu Dhabi and is expected to have a capacity of 5 gigawatts. NVIDIA will provide the latest Blackwell GB300 system hardware, and Oracle is also involved. According to the Zhitong Finance APP, multiple informed sources revealed on Friday that American tech giants NVIDIA (NVDA.US), Cisco (CSCO.US), Oracle (ORCL.US), and OpenAI will support the UAE's "Interstellar Gateway" artificial intelligence (AI) data center announced this week.
One informed source stated that AI chip leader NVIDIA will provide hardware for the latest Blackwell GB300 system.
The source indicated that the data center will collaborate with the similarly named AI infrastructure project announced shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump took office in January this year.
Another informed source mentioned that Oracle is also involved in the UAE's "Interstellar Gateway" project. Previously, Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison participated in the launch of the U.S. "Interstellar Gateway" project.
According to information released by the U.S. Department of Commerce, the UAE's "Interstellar Gateway" project will be constructed by the UAE company G42 in the capital city of Abu Dhabi. This massive complex will have a capacity of 5 gigawatts and cover an area of 10 square miles.
Reports indicate that from May 13 to 16, President Trump will embark on his first foreign visit of his second term, with destinations including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, and Cisco President Gitu Patel also visited the UAE.
Additionally, Huang announced on Tuesday in Saudi Arabia that NVIDIA will sell 18,000 Blackwell chips to the Saudi company Humain.
It is reported that the GB300 chips announced earlier this year will be used for a total of 500 megawatts of data centers in Saudi Arabia.
AMD (AMD.US) stated that it will also supply chips to Humain. The company mentioned that Humain has committed to investing $10 billion in the project
