According to Reuters, U.S. Treasury Secretary Becerra stated that the Trump administration is considering exempting tariffs on car seats, strollers, cribs, and other essential goods for infants and toddlers from China.
Democratic Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley questioned Becerra during a House Financial Services Committee hearing, pointing out that over 3.5 million babies are born in the U.S. each year, but nearly all strollers are produced in China, leading to rising living costs.
